In depth guidance and instruction of foundational and intermediate level yoga postures, breathing techniques, and meditation practices. Students will become familiar with props and how they can be utilized to improve their practice. Lots of care and personalized attention. A great knowledge and confidence building class.
Slow Flow – Level 2:
A slow, meditative flow from one posture to the next. Some yoga experience recommended as the class will incorporate some advanced postures. Expect a warm up, peak, and cool down. You’ll leave peacefully energized.
All Levels Deep Stretch/Meditation:
Just like it sounds. A perfectly crafted class for a late Sunday morning. Deep stretches to wake up and energize the body ending with a centering group meditation practice. a.k.a. Yoga Church 🙂
Yin: The name comes from Yin/Yang – the eastern symbol of balance. Yang is the masculine/active/hot energy and Yin is the feminine/passive/cool. Deep stretches, long holds and slow/deep breathing. Restorative: Postures are more gentle and relaxing than Yin, yet similar. A perfect balance to our active lives and workout regimes! Also a great pre-bed practice!
Healthy Backs: This class focuses on postures to relieve back pain by targeting certain muscles that create stress on the spine and strengthening others that support it. Contact me for more information.
