Yoga Sutra 1.2 - Yoga is the stilling of the fluctuations of the mind
A regular yoga practice (sadhana) consists of pranayama (breathing techniques), asana (physical postures), and meditation. These practices are not 'one size fits all' and are most effective in creating a transformative experience when customized for the practitioner. Yoga is a centuries-old science with the power to affect change in every aspect of your life.
I have specialized training in Yoga for Mood Management, Trauma-Informed Yoga, Yoga for Addiction, Yoga Nidra, Individualized Yoga Therapy, and Ayurveda (the Indian science of lifestyle and nutrition) and can design a customized practice just for you.
Private yoga sessions may include any combination of:
Yogic philosophy teachings
Alignment focused physical practice (asana)
Pranayama (breathing techniques)
Yin (deep stretching/long holds)
Yoga Nidra (restorative guided relaxation)
Nikki stands as a living example of the power of yoga and holistic healing to create lasting transformation. She is passionate, devoted, and enthusiastic about making a real impact in the lives of others and I give her my most enthusiastic recommendation as a yoga teacher and coach.

Nikki seems to effortlessly create custom, personalized Yoga practice recordings based on my needs or goals at the moment. These practices appear in my inbox while traveling, are personal to what I’m working toward, spoken with confidence, and always pleasant to practice to. Her Nidra recordings have been great to return to especially while traveling or under stress.

Nikki teaches creatively combining her extensive knowledge and understanding of her clients needs. My biggest takeaway was that I learned how to slow down my busy life when I needed to, relax my mind and re-energize for whatever is next.

Nikki helped introduce me to the world of yoga and a practice that I will pursue for the rest of my life. Her encouragement and focus on integrating mind, body, and spirit has made me a better person.
I began sessions with Nikki as an absolute beginner. She's incredibly patient and takes the time to skillfully help me through my challenges. Because of her fun and caring attitude, and how yoga has helped me physically, I'm hooked! I look forward to every session with her, she's awesome.
